LipZor Light Device

I want to start off by saying thank you, to those of you, who have bought this device from cold sore product reviews. The response has been overwhelming. I'm honestly proud to say that today we have sold in the hundreds of LipZor Light Device's. Some might think it's about the sales. Nah, not even a little bit. This site wasn't made to make money. It was invented to help people. It was built on a basis of helping others with the information I have. And hoping they pass it on to others. If this device has helped hundreds of my readers. Then more power to them, I love it and so should you.

Now on with the review. This in my opinion is a must have device for anyone who suffers from cold sores. I felt like it helped stop the sore, and aided in the healing. If you have a full blown cold sore its going to aid in the healing process. Just don't expect some miracle from a cold sore at it worst. Like I've stated in the past the best way to fight cold sores is to catch them early. Stay healthy, and keep products and remedies close by. The process is painless and I noticed that my blister never actually grew past the point of use. I continued use for several days, and could not deny the results that I had seen. I love my LipZor. Its a great product to have on hand when you need it the most.

Dental Laser Cold Sore Treatment Update

Up until a couple weeks ago I hadn't had to fight off any cold sores in about 4-5 months. I was doing well and staying healthy. Then allergy season in the Mid-West kicked me in the rear end. My immune system got low, even with my daily regimen, and I got a cold. Well that was that. A cold sore started to form on my chin of all places and it was HUGE. I started to panic at work, I was out of town and no where near my remedies. I didn't want to use my LipZor on this one. I wanted to go a different route. I called the dentist and requested a laser treatment. After all it was time to see what this cold sore laser treatment was all about.

I got in that day on my way home. The whole process lasted about 15 minutes and was not painful at all. The laser he used was pretty damn awesome if I say so myself. The area became hot as he started the treatment. His assistant cooled the area with a tube, blowing air, across the area. The only thing I felt was heat. It was in no way unpleasant. Now for the good stuff! The results. The treatment stopped the sore in its tracks. The blister was at its peak state. I honestly didn't give them anything to work with. The blister was again at its worst. The results of this cold sore laser treatment was in retrospect awesome. I would love to see what it can do on a sore that has just begun. If you have a big night out, hot date, big meeting. This is the way to go for sure, hands down. My insurance even covered the cost, had they not, it would have been $50 dollars. As for the healing, the laser did not speed it up much.. The dying off and drying out of the blister was not any quicker after scabbing. As I previously stated I had by my own admission let this blister go to far. Hope this information helps those who visit this site. Stay strong and healthy.

New Updates!

Its been awhile since I've added anything new to our blog. I've been on the grind, just like you visitors, and have been pleasantly over whelmed at the response this little site has generated. Its been fun to watch it grow over the last several months, and see the need for good solid information on the subject of cold sore products and remedies. I've tried some new things, and adjusted some old ones. I've returned to give you the scoop. I hope this information helps those in need, and thanks again for making a go to site for cold sore products and remedies!

Valacyclovir for Cold Sores.

I have personally been prescribed Valtrex for a cold sore treatment for 3 years. I usually take 1000mg at onset of tingle and another 1000mg 12 hrs later. I know there are many out there who wonder if such a prescription could be beneficial to them? I think that Valtrex is a treatment that does what it says it well do.

When you take the Valtrex after onset of a cold sore I noticed that the cold sore never blistered. The blister never formed or got swollen. There was a small sore that was far less obvious or painful. Considering the actual sore never formed I was happy with the results. I understand that going to your Dr. and getting Valtrex may not be something you want to do. If that's the case then this page is full of other products and remedies you can use to fight cold sores.

Taking Valtrex when I get a cold sore has shortened the time of having the blister to about 4 days. I feel that's a pretty good turn around time since these blisters can linger much longer depending on location. If you hate getting these blisters as badly as I do, scheduling an appointment with your family Dr. and discussing Valtrex as an option is a good idea. Have a good weekend all!

Cold sore laser treatment

Recently I came across some information that Dentist's are now using a wand that emits a laser to help kill cold sores. If you find a dentist in your area with the equipment, you can schedule an appointment to have your cold sore zapped. You obviously want to make the appointment as soon as possible. The longer you wait, like anything else, the more time your wasting. Fighting cold sores should be happening all the time. But if one happens to surprise you, then going to the dentist surely is an option!

I hope you find this information useful. I know of several people who have tried this and loved the results. I have yet to need it and will seriously consider it when I do. The charge for this service isn't cheap at $30-50 a pop. Your going to have to be the judge as to its value to you. This service could certainly be a life saver if you really need a cold sore gone.

I looked long and hard to discover that dental laser cold sore treatments are soft tissue procedures. I have found the wand dentists use in their office is not available for consumer use. After doing some digging around and looking for reputable cold sore remedies. I finally found 2 at home cold sore laser treatment tools that you the consumer can buy. Just discovering this information myself, you can bet mine is in the mail and on the way. This I'm super excited about! Take care all.

Cold Sore Tips and Tricks

Happy Sunday all. Im sitting here in the cold Mid-West. Doesn't feel much like spring out there. I should have stayed in Florida!. Anyway I thought today I would write a few things I've learned over the years when dealing with cold sores. Ya know, spread the love a little.

This post well be short and sweet, and I hope all of you are having a happy healthy day!

The low down:

  • Putting ice on a blister does help the swelling.
  • Adding to much product to fight the cold sore doesn't work
  • Picking, Licking, or Touching should be minimal at best
  • Never ever pop a cold sore, the fluid could make the blister spread to other places on your face
  • The more prepared you are for one, the less its going to matter when you get one!
  • Relax, the more stressed you are the worse it's going to be.

Just get a juicer already well ya!

Got myself a juicer the other day. After tons of research I found out that you can spend "HUGE" amounts of money on these darn things. I found that the Hamilton beach juicer had the best reviews out there for the money.

So I got on Amazon and ordered my self one. Why you ask? Because drinking 3-4 soda's a day, diet or not, is just plan bananas! Juicing fruits and vegetables just makes sense. And you get to enjoy them in their freshest condition. I try to drink 1-2 glasses a day of fresh fruits and vegetables. It makes for a healthier life fighting off all the crud out there. The Hamilton Beach juicer has worked very well for me. It does a great job juicing and I didn't have to spend a fortune to get it. I really love to make orange juice it's my favorite and delicious.
